Looking back I think my art career was launched at age 9 when my parents enthusiastically showed off one of my drawings of our siamese cats. In a household of many pets, they were often featured in my illustrations. Basically, anyone who sat still was sketched or painted. In 1979 I graduated from UNH with a BFA. I landed my first “art” job at Rustcraft in 1979 as a greeting card designer which lead to a career in the Stationery and Gift Field.
 
 
home After 17 years of working as an art director, I launched my full time freelance career in 2002. I love designing full time and the freedom it gives me. I enjoy trying new styles, but mostly like to bring a little humor into my designs. I love the element of surprise in design and enjoy making people smile. I have been married for over 35 years and have 2 grown daughters and 1 son in law. Every year we vacation at Nantucket and I am blessed that the tradition continues on.
